In an attempt to reverse this summer’s heat wave, Siku, http://whitedogblog.blogspot.com/ in her July 25, 2011 post, suggested that bloggers post a Christmas picture to help reverse the oppressive heat that has been plaguing most of the country.
*Mind relief *from the hot weather sounds wonderful.
Christmas pictures.
Thoughts of a Christmas tree . . .
Stocking hung with *care* (???)
In the Arms of Morpheus with visions of Sugarplum Dog Treats . . . dancing in my head.
Ollie's First Christmas. Notice the lack of ornaments on the bottom of the tree.
Ollie, Christmas 2010
Santa Paws had given us lots of treats and toys wrapped in paw print and doggie paper.
We received matching new dog beds which we desperately needed. I can always tell which one is MY bed. It's the cleanest one and has no Milk Bone crumbs.
Mom really loved that pillow. Was she trying to tell us something ?
Let's not forget my Barkday on December 24th. No, those are NOT horns growing out of my head.We received matching new dog beds which we desperately needed. I can always tell which one is MY bed. It's the cleanest one and has no Milk Bone crumbs.
Mom really loved that pillow. Was she trying to tell us something ?
If this picture doesn't grip you in the arms of Jack Frost, nothing will.
This is Mom shoveling snow at the Long Island house.
(Hint to Mom: "Never use a shovel that is as big as you are.")
Be careful what you wish for.

We love the Christmas in July pictures.:)

Momma had to put on a sweater and have a cup of hot chocolate, your photos worked so well! Your house looks so festive and happy during the holidays. everything makes us want to explore and sniff...not just lie like torpid stuffies under the cooler vents! Whoever named these the DOG days of summer?
The quote your mom left is also one of momma's favorites! And it is so true that nothing in yourself is diminished by sharing with others. We have been horribly remiss friends...momma is totally consumed with the organization of the Puppy Up Walk for Canine Cancer Research...so many details, so much to do...and her friend in crisis was one of her key helpers (doing signs, taking photos, etc). I know if killing the cancer beast wasn't so important to all of us, that she might not have taken on such a gigantic task. We hope all is well with everyone in sunny (and hot) CA...and your mom is not working herself to a nub caring for grandma and visiting her grandchild. We miss you we truly do. Maybe we should just phone and catch up that way.
We have so missed you! We sort of suspected that mom had her hands VERY full these days and are glad to hear things might be leveling off a bit. We have so much to catch up on. Rather than both momma's getting writer's cramp can momma call you? Leave her a message on Facebook with your number or email her at sehismith@aol.com...and also let her know when a good time for a long chat would be...she is totally open.
