Mom Is in Michigan Again --- Spending Time with That *Other Man*.

Mom has itchy feet and has been caught in the throes of wanderlust. In January, she, Dad and Jessica had gone to Cabo San Lucas.  A few days later, she was packing again to fly to Michigan to see Lauren and the family.

 It's a lot easier for her to get around than to have Lauren, Dave and Cayden shlepp through an airport with all that baby paraphernalia.

("If the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain."  )

That kid needs constant supervision. Imagine what havoc he could raise on an airplane.

On the home front in California, our oil portraits finally have been completed.  Initially, Mom wanted to commission an artist to capture our exquisite faces on canvas. However, it was more conducive to the wallet to have Dad unleash his artistic talents.

To my discerning critical eye, I noticed that Dad's white paint on my fur turned to a cream hue when it dried.  Also, there are fingermarks on the glass.  However, those slight imperfections in no way deter from my dazzling good looks.

we deserve.

Thanks a lot Dad - good job.  However, you forgot the picture lights to enhance our faces.

Cappy Valentine's Day

Mom has been in Michigan for a few weeks and is using her Netbook.  Due to *technical difficulties* (more like her lack of technical savvy), McAfee prevents her from using 

all her fun sites to create new photo frame images of us.

So . . . she took our pictures from our 2/14/2010 blog ~~ we still have the same cute faces.

Christmas 2011

We tried to capture some Christmas memories at our house with these pictures.

It started off wonderfully with a package from Siku and the White Dog Army.

December 24th was my 6th Barkday.  We had a special celebration.  You can see Ollie in the lower left hand corner.  He's probably just waiting to get at that pie.

Our tree managed to stay up until Christmas.  Mom said that if it fell over one more time,  it would be on it's side in the back yard - decorations and all.

. 

Santa Paws was very good to us.

However . . . There were two *naughty* bags with coal in the bottom our stockings -- they couldn't possibly have been for US.  Our behavior has been exemplary.

It was a LONG day.  Here we are -- in the Arms of Morpheus.
