Hi, Nova here.
I'm taking over Cappy's blog. My Grandpawrents flew to Michigan to see me and Sadie -- oh yes -- and to see my brother Cayden.(Grandpaw had never seen him in person.)
Cappy and Ollie had been staying at the *Doggie Motel* in Morgan Hill -- how sad - they were dropped off on Valentine's Day. The good news is that my sister Jessica picked them up today and now they'll be spoiled beyond belief.
I'll do my best to do Cappy proud and adhere to his high standards of journalism. He told me that he had received the Peabody Award for broadcast journalism, but I seriously think that he's suffering from
delusions of grandeur and is confusing himself with Walter Cronkite. However, Cappy IS definitely a PEEbody.
As most of you will remember, I'm an extremely handsome, robust and gregarious Border Collie mix. I live in Michigan with my sister, Sadie Mae who is very camera-shy.
Here's a rare picture of Sadie. Well, enough about her.
I'm going to hog the spotlight for a while and suck everyone into a vortex of happiness.
If you want to see more photos of us, please refer to Cappy's July 2010 blog.
My little brother has settled in nicely, but it's a lot of work for me and Sadie. Sadie had been a Mom herself, so she's overly concerned when she hears the baby cry.
I'm just checking Cayden to make sure that he's comfortable.
Here's Grandpaw and Cayden -- asleep on his shoulder.
Another picture:
Obviously the Grandpawrents are afraid he's going to starve.
Grandma and Cayden:
Grandma must miss Cappy and Ollie very much, because she keeps telling Cayden, "You're such a good little doggie."
Grandma seems so normal when you first meet her . . .
Being a Big Brudder is VERY hard work.
Have a great Sunday Everyone !
