Trip to the V-E-T

As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, I knew that this wasn't going to be a fun day in the park.

I had been feeling poorly on Tuesday, constantly shaking my head and rubbing my left ear against everything.
Mom took me to the V-E-T on Wednesday.  I was my most ungracious self, but the doctor was totally unaffected by my barking, snapping and snarling. He picked me up as if we were best buddies and the amazing part is - - I  LET him.

I guess my ear was in pretty bad shape because the end result was an Epi-Otic ear cleaning, 2 shots, a goodie bag of Metacam, Cefa Drops and Panalog.

Of course all this excellent care came at a price. If Mom had been planning to buy an Isabella Fiore handbag, it's definitely not in her future. I am now an even more expensive piece of *eye candy* and feeling much better.

Aw, sorry that your not feeling well Cappy! You are definitely the best eye candy a mom could ask for though!!! I know you don't feel well, but you look adorable snuggled in to the couch! Mine is an evil monster, but I'm getting used to it!

Feel better friend,

Love,
Prinnie

Poor Cappy! Ear aches are the worst! Be a good boy about taking your medicine and you will be fine in no time. Tell mom should could not buy anything that would make her more beautiful than she is when she is holding you on her lap...together you two are priceless! BTW Snow is more like lots of little cold butterflies dancing on your nose and eyelashes and making your coat sparkly.

Wow, you went to the V E T, too, on Thursday. I went as well, for a dental. And I hear Teddy and Shasta went, too!

I hope your ear is feeling better. How much you wanna bet my teeth cleaning was more than your vet appt.

:-)

Thak you for the birthday wishes to mom--both on the comment-a-thon AND in the wonderful special card you sent her! Your family is the kindest and nicest people (two- and four-legged) ever! You make mom very happy to have such caring friends.

Hi Cappy, hope you are fully recovered by now! Don't forget to leave a comment on Ben's blog! It is worth $1 toward animal rescue: http://lifeon3legs.wordpress.com/2010/03/18/a-year-ago/
