We're Baaack . . .

I told Mom that I'd better start posting SOON before I'm considered a *deadbeat blogger*.

Our Pawrents went Cancun  (Secrets  Maroma) and we stayed at the Animal Care Center *Doggie Motel* and spent some time with our sister.  Mom had to make 30 sandwich bags of our food.  She started early in April, cooking  vegetables, rice, pasta, organic chicken franks, pot roast, chicken, London Broil and froze everything.  It would be easier if we ate dog  food, but I don't think that's ever going to happen.

I think she got a little carried away with the labeling.

We were in a state of indignation when we realized that we were going to be caged up
LIKE ANIMALS !!!

It actually wasn't so bad.   There was a lot of activity during the day and plenty of new people to bark at and annoy. We were given lots of excercise and play time.  The doctors were always there and the caretaker crew stayed until 10:30 PM.  By that time, we were thoroughly exhausted and ready to sleep.

The vacation pictures are still in the process of being put together in an album, but here are some random ones:

This little guy seemed to be all over the place, but perhaps he has has a very large family.

The view from the room balcony.

Even though the resort was all inclusive and you could eat and drink 24/7, Mom still had to get some additional pasteries after breakfast for "the trip back to the room".  Heaven forbid that stomach should ever be empty.

White sand *sugar* beach.

Bathtime was the first item on the agenda when we returned.

It's good to be home !!!

We hope that everyone has a great Memorial Day Weekend.

I'm so glad that your pawrents had such a blast in Cancun. The Doggy Motel doesn't sound bad at all. We're so glad that you're back!!!:) Bath time isn't that much fun but I'm sure there were treats involved.:)

We are glad everyone is home and back in each others loving arms. It looks like your parents had a VERYnice time on vacation. Guess what? Tonight Quinn and I helped mom make our food for the week! She cooks up chicken and rice and grinds up mixed veggies, then bags in into individual servings and freezes it. We made 15 days worth of bags! Did you get any Cancun presents? P.S. I agree about Quinn not exactly being Security Dog material...

YAY that you're home! We miss you all!!!

Cappy and Oliver - You have a wonderful Mom! Those labels are awesome. I showed my mom, with a little nudge and a few big hints for next time they decide to go away without us.

Sorry that you had to stay caged like an animal (the nerve), but atleast you got to have some fun and play alot. Why is it when parents get home and they smell all funny, they make US take a bath????

Glad you're back! Let mom know the pictures sure are beautiful!

Love,
Prinnie

Your pawrents photos look like they had a lovely time. When my mom and dad went to Ensenada, I got to go along...we rented a villa right on the bay and at the market a jewelry maker let me pose with a VERY expensive emerald necklace while she took my picture for her store! Maybe next time, mom and dad could take you along!

I bet your mom and dad didn't see any iguanas quite like our Milo! Hopefully she will get over her fascination with my brother soon.

Mom just loved the quote from Dr. Seuss! Thanks for your kind words of comfort about Tortuga.
