Car *Browsing*

On Saturday, Ollie and I saw the *Eskie Bag* on the counter along with water and treats and really got excited.  Hooray - another trip to the park!

However, all hopes were crushed when Dad pulled into the Nissan Dealership.

Mom, who drives a perfectly functional 1999 Buick Century (the Rolling Dumpster)  with only 36,000 miles, absolutely loves the anonymity of driving such an outdated vehicle. (It's a real hoopty.)   So far, no speeding tickets or Traffic School attendance -- no one would even consider stealing it -- and if people felt sorry for her, they could  always stick a dollar on the windshield wiper.  Mom was NOT looking to buy anything !

However . . .  she had seen the Nissan Cube, was fascinated with the quirkiness of the design and  wanted to test drive it.

We all had a good time at the Nissan Dealership.  While Mom was test driving the car, we left a LOT of pee mail in the parking lot and I barked at everyone who approached us.
I decided that we needed a truck in the family rather than a cartoon car. Ollie and I agreed that a Dodge Ram fits our personality  ~~ good looking and rugged.
No sales anywhere ~~ another setback for the economy.

Ollie thoroughly enjoyed the open air car ride back home . . .
. . . and we were . . .
Two Exhausted Boyz.

Have a GREAT week everyone !

What a fun outing! How pawesome that your Mom's car only has 36,000 miles. We think the Cube is pretty cool.

That was pawesome, right?
I have to say that car is... funny!
My mom says I am the reason she can't get a new car! Too many Vet bills! Hmmmm...
She has a Chevy Monza 2004 and it has 15,000 miles! My grandpa calls it... a sidewalk car!
Kisses and hugs

Car shopping is HARD work! The Cube is kind of like a weird looking Pumpkin (our van) and it looks like you and Ollie would have LOTS of room to spread out. We are surprised you didn't go for the test and momma took us (although we bet the sales guy made them vacuum the minute we returned)! LOL! That is ok she didn't buy; it means you just get to shop more!

Yes, the longer they decide the more trips to car dealerships, the more test drives. What fun!

We hope you got some yummy crab cakes and beignets yesterday...and that you don't have to fast today!

So much catching up to do:
First, Quinn says "Thanks" to Ollie for his advice on how to deal with the beautiful Daisy Mae. Quinn doesn't have much experience and is pretty shy; Daisy is a totally modern she-dog and is sometimes a little overwhelming in letting him know she is interested.

Thank you for all of the kind words for Dad's new adventure and for momma's birthday. Your love and encouragement mean a lot of our family.

Momma received your incredible birthday gift and opened it yesterday morning. I thought she ruined the beautiful afghan by making it all wet but dad said that tears of joy and happiness are good. You are so very special...and for you all to remember us White Dogs as well even though it wasn't our Gotcha Day or anything...well, you are just the best! Beyond thanks.
