Da Boyz Are Back In Town

It has been Soooooooo long since I last posted, that I was astonished to discover that my
 blogger format had changed.
 Mom (eventually) figured it out.

Ollie and have been alive and well.
I'm currently looking for a more
conscientious assistant to type my blog.
These past few months have been hectic.  I guess that's what happens when *Life gets in the way.*

Grandma had been in and out of the hospital and her health now has finally stabilized.  Mom had been on auto-pilot to and from the hospital and to seemingly endless office visits for follow-ups with doctors and physical therapists.

and then . . .
Mom and Dad went on a cruise to the Western Mediterranean  (#1 on Dad's *Bucket List*) and spent a few days in Spain when the ship docked in Barcelona
Traveling to Europe was completely out of Mom's
comfort zone, but somehow she survived the trip without any mishaps.  Hopefully, pictures will be posted soon.

Ollie and I felt as if  we were in the Doggie Foster Care System.  We had been staying with Jessica and also with her friend Jeana. Our Aunt Jeana.  We had the best time living  with her.  She really spoiled us.

We also stayed at the Dog House Inn http://www.thedoghouseinn.com/ and didn't miss Mom and Dad at all.  Well, maybe a little.

and then . . .
After much house-hunting, the pawrents  purchased a house in San Clemente (4 miles from the beach).

A move back to Southern California was # 2 on Dad's *Bucket List*.  They had lived there for 12 years and absolutely loved that area. Mom would love to tell people that they're surfers  (yeah, right) and want to be closer to the ocean, but she knows that she couldn't keep a straight face saying that.

and now . . .
The *fun* (?) begins.  Our house is for sale in Morgan Hill.  We had an open house today and will have another one tomorrow.  Since we're basically selling it ourselves (with the support of the Help-U-Sell brokers and their staff), we're the lucky (?) ones who have to stay in a completely clutter-free house for 4 hours.

Mom hyperventilates at the mere thought of keeping her things neat and organized.  She is the messiest person we know. She likes her "stuff" out where  it is visible.   ALL her stuff  - books, magazines, crocheting, ironing, mending, coffee cups, soda cans, etc.
For the longest time, Ollie and I thought that an ironing board was a piece of furniture.

Tomorrow should be the real test . . .

We have missed you all SO MUCH! Glad Grandma is stabilized and that everything seems to be falling into place. Mom and dad must have some incredible memories of the cruise and wow, Cappy and Ollie, you guys will live by the beach! We hope you are really back but we do understand life's demands. P.S. our momma is just like yours regarding her "stacks!"
