Pet Alert Sticker

We found this on http://www.petplace.com/.
"In case of emergency, alert anyone that there's a pet inside your house.

This decal with “PET ALERT” can save your pet in the case of a flood, fire, tornado, hurricane or other emergency situation if you need  to evacuate your home.

The decal will alert emergency personnel to the presence of your pets and how many you have. Make sure you indicate how many dogs and cats you have.  Place them on windows that can be easily seen from the street.  "

Here's the link:   http://www.petplace.com/fireman-stickers.aspx

We didn't use the special inkjet decal paper.  We just printed the dog sticker
on regular paper and attached it to the inside of the window.   Mom wanted to add pictures of us, but  I warned her that our cute faces would only encourage dognappers.

What a fantastic post - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am going to go on the link and get some right now for our home. I remember being a child and having one on my bedroom window - Given the tragedies of late, this post couldn't be more timely.

Cappy,
Thanks for kind words about the Michael incident. I was really scared! I am still learning so much about his illness.

Isn't my new brother the handsomest (as cute as you are Cappy)? Even though he is all groggy from neutering and is really dirty from living in prison, I think he will be the perfect addition to our family!

That's funny you mentioned the sticker. My Mom has been to 1 hardware store this week and 1 pet supply store. Neither store had the window clings. The pet supply store even gave her a funny look. This weekend she is going to our local store to buy the clings. She has seen it there before.
